The village is host to the beautifully preserved and restored North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The trains travel from Grosmont to Pickering via Goathland, through an awe-inspiring landscape. Steam enthusiasts can also make use of our steam video library. The area is ideal for walking and sight-seeing. Just a short stroll in any direction takes you to miles of moorland, wooded valley's, cascading waterfalls and historic sites including the Roman Road.
